Big Wild Boar Driven Hunts
Season: 01.09.-15.04.
The hunting grounds is in a private reserve" Cesma" which is situated at about 40 minutes drive from Zagreb.
The reserve consists of 8000 hectares of Slavonian oak woods out of which 650 hectares are fenced. In the midst of the reserve there is a beautiful hunting lodge with 16 beds in the single and double rooms.
The concentration of wild boars is very high. Deer are found in large numbers here also. Three or four driven hunts are organized daily. Hunters shoot from the ambushes raised from the ground in order to avoid all the risks that this type of hunting could cause. Each hunter will have his own personal assistant who will point out the animals to shoot. The organization requests not to shoot at adult females. The quality of the male wild boars is exceptional; one can very easily make a gold medal in a driven hunt also. The biggest harvested specimen last year had the tusks up to 37,5 cm long which is new SCI record!
